Essence

Qigong serves as a centring and balancing process. You are pulling in a lot of qi (energy) from the universe, as you allow your hands to move off the body and all around you, unconfined by its edges. Then slowly come back without feeling that the continuity has been interrupted, let go and keep with the flow. Feel through the different layers of the body, soothing and combing the energy with your palms. Try not to let the clutter of static thoughts block your mind. Relax into the move-ment; spine stays vertical, relaxed and free to move. Stand in the sphere of your own energy, feet on the ground a channel between heaven and earth. Keep your awareness right at the centre point of the movement going out into infinity and coming back to you in a curve. Ride the wave, be the wave.
